We are constantly looking at new opportunities and new clients to support the rapid growth of our company and our people. As our relationship with Amazon has grown this year, it has opened the door for new potential clients.
At the end of October, Luis Seijas, one of our Account Managers, was chosen as one of five Account Managers to pilot a program for Ring. Ring LLC is a home security and smart home company owned by Amazon. Ring manufactures home security products that incorporate outdoor motion-detecting cameras, including Ring Video Doorbell. Chosen out of 3,000 Account Managers across the country from various companies, Luis played an integral part in creating results that may lead us to a new client. For 5 weeks he learned their products and worked at creating systems for acquiring clients in Las Vegas, NV.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela to a mother who worked in real estate and a father who worked in finance, Luis, one of six kids, was taught the value of hard work from an early age. “I'd say my drive and motivation largely comes from my parents, and that leads to my work ethic. They've taught me how important it is to pursue the things you want in life, and work hard to achieve your goals." He developed a love of soccer and modeled himself after his favorite player, Lionel Messi. He played at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa upon moving to the US in August 2016. He graduated this year with a degree in Business Administration with a Finance & Management emphasis, and an Accounting minor.
Luis interviewed with Coast after finding the company on LinkedIn. He started on May 16th and was amongst the first group to learn completely online during the height of the COVID 19 pandemic. He was immediately impressed with the culture, mentorship and coaching, "I started at Coast mainly because it has driven people who support each other, which along with a great merit based opportunity, makes for an amazing work environment." He continues his love of soccer and support of his favorite team, F.C. Barcelona, but since joining Coast Inc. has invested his time gaining invaluable leadership skills, public speaking skills as well as building strong relationships with management and peers.
Luis has made not only his family, but everyone here at Coast, extremely proud of his progress and achievements. We all know that this is just the beginning of the great things that Luis is destined to accomplish! From Venezuela to Vegas and beyond!
