Miguel is a Chicago native who has made quite an impact since joining the Coast Inc team earlier this year. We took some time to ask him questions about working at Coast Inc and he gave us some great insight on his perspective of the company and his career here.

Q: How did you hear about Coast Inc's job opening?
A: I found the company via indeed.com!
Q: Did you have any hesitations about joining the team?
A: My main concern was that I didn’t have any experience in sales/marketing and that the industry was cutthroat just as they pictured it in films! During my interview process I was made aware that a lot of people had little to no sales experience. That motivated me considering I wanted to try something new! Everyone was super friendly and genuine. They wanted to get to know me for me. That gave me enough confidence to overcome my hesitation.
Q: What was it about Coast Inc. that you like most?
A: 1. The amazing culture. Getting to know everyone on a personal basis and having people who actually care about you.
2. The ability to change my life completely. Coast Inc. believes in hard work and dedication. They make it clear that anyone who starts here are managers in training and I truly believe that. They will not outside hire anyone into a management position.
Q: What is like working at Coast Inc?
A: The People, the [client], and the leadership (ability to get help from anyone in the company)
Q: How has working at Coast Inc. helped you with achieving your goals?
A: Coast has helped me bring a lot of structure in my personal and professional life. It’s helped me learn how to stay grounded without overworking myself. Hitting my goals has been a lot easier with the amount of help I’ve had.
Q: What do you think the company does to help you succeed?
A: I’m a big believer in helping those that need help, and I think that aligns well with Coast Inc. Since day one I've gotten an ample amount of support to learn and develop. Everyone is always so supportive in taking the time out of their day to help anyone in need.
Q: How would you describe the company culture at Coast Inc?
A: Thrilling. Coast definitely has a great culture. Team nights are my favorite! We get to learn more about people in our company outside of the typical 9-5 hours.
Q: Who inspires you most at Coast Inc?
A: Emily is my best inspiration! This gal has done it all while juggling a family! I love how her goals revolve around her team as well as her baby Sophie! She has a lot of grit and has jumped past many obstacles. EMILY IS NOT A QUITTER.
Q: Would you recommend working at Coast Incorporated to your friends or family?
A: I would definitely recommend working at Coast to my friends and/or family. I believe the environment is great for growth and the opportunity is endless.
Q: Last question, what advice would you give to a job candidate who may not be sure that a role at Coast Inc. is a good fit?
A: Hey, my job is not to convince you to work here or not. I know how much of a big opportunity this is. I completely love what I do and the people in the company.
